10 thing my house is NEVER without!
These are my staples. I absolutely, have to have these items in the house. When I begin running low, I getting nervous and my palms start sweating. If in the event I ever do run out of any of the above mentioned items.....that, becoming my quest for the following day, obtaining my missing staple.
These are listed in the order of importance....
1. Birth Control (my word, the repercussion could be devastating)
2. Coffee (my morning nectar)
3. Novel (I without fail, have to have a book in progress, have to!)
4. Batteries (of every size and shape....no comment, Salena!)
5. Wine (the romance continues with Mr. Rossi)
6. Bottled Water (still weaning from Diet Coke, ugh!)
7. Bleach (the smell of clean, a must)
8. Pasta (from the North...it's just what we eat)
9. Body Lotion (gotta have smooth skin)
10. Banana's (one of my daily snacks)
Ok, so these are the things that help me survive it all! :)

The hubbs sometimes complains about how much the birth control costs. I'm like "It's better than the alternative"
We eat Mac & Cheese all the time.

#1 used to be #1 on my list - until Mr. Incredible went in!
The must have items we share are: coffee, a novel, batteries, and pasta.

Oh my, number THREE? If my baby wasn't already 5 and a half and I wasn't "old", lol....maybe, but PLEASE, NOT now! You would undoubtedly hear my scream in Atlanta. :):)
I just finished a Barbara Delinsky, total feel good book, It wasn't bad. And last night started a Ken Follett book, Whiteout. I'm only three chapters in but I've never been disappointed with any of his books.
Melissa...
EEK, I suppose there is a pattern there. Doesn't look good does it? ;)
Unfortunately, I know very well what all those batteries are for. And, I've even loaned her some birth control once! A sad one, this friendship, I say.
When I'm at the house, I have to say we go through more wine, bananas and coffee....is there a pattern there??
Nice list, though a man's survival kit would be alot different.
*Smiles*
We shrea about half of these....I'll let you gguess which ones we don't share...;)
How can you eat pasta and look so good still? And you sound like me when it comes to books. I LOVE to read and ALWAYS have a book in progress. I liked you list! PS, I am always aout of batteries! How do you keep them in?
What, no toilet paper ?!?!?!?
Wow, you wouldn't get by too well around here at the moment ... Bananas are at $12.99 (sometimes more) a kilo ... way expensive. In the past they were sometimes as low as $1.99 a kilo, sometimes less. Thanks to the cyclone up north earlier this year, the banana plantations were mostly wiped out.
Hope you are well.
Take care, Meow
