Tour de France

Riding bikes....what a great way to spend time having fun with friends and family. When I was a kid riding your bike was the fastest way to get to your friends house to play or to the local candy store for the week supply of bubble gum. We had them parked everywhere except where they should be, let anyone ride them and there was NEVER an adult with us....it was "kids only." It's just the way it was.

NOW, it's an organized sport. There are only certain places your are allowed to ride and bikes along with kids are put into cars to get to the riding location. There is always an adult riding along and the helmets are a must. (I guess our heads were harder in the old days.) The bikes are hung in the garage by the tires or even brought in the house for safe keeping.

The kids had a blast riding and I am happy to bring them where ever there is a place to ride. It's just amazing to me how things have changed just in the past not so many years. They changed from the most complicated of things right down to kids riding their bikes.

Who knows there just may be a Lance Armstrong among the group!

I've learned that people may forget what you said, people may forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel.
